What is a

HOUSE CHURCH?

A House Church is a small community of believers, identified by the structure and purposes discovered in the New Testament church.

A CP House Church is a House Church that adheres to all of the alignment and values of Church Project, is identified as a Church Project and is connected to the Church Project Network, is has intentions to replicate and become a comprehensive Church Project with Sunday Gatherings.House Churches.Ministry Partnerships.

 
 

WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO

PLANTING A CHURCH PROJECT?

  1. Planting pastor reads CHURCH PROJECT book

  2. Core planting team reads CHURCH PROJECT book

  3. Core planting team has conversation and alignment and agreement on desire to plant a CHURCH PROJECT

  4. Pastor of church plant has conversation with Aaron Havens, initial filter conversations of alignment on philosophy, doctrine, practice, etc.

  5. Pastor of potential church plant has conversation with Jason Shepperd, based on recommendation by Aaron Havens

  6. Potential planter and core leaders visit Church Project in the Woodlands, Texas. Attend Sunday morning gathering, Sunday evening meeting with Church Project leaders, Monday morning meet with specific staff, Church Project Staff meeting, staff lunch.

  7. Lead pastor and lead team share vision and gain alignment with entire church planting core.

  8. Jason Shepperd and Aaron Havens visit on church planting location with core, answer questions, and gain agreement on CHURCH PROJECT alignment. A Church Project is commissioned.

  9. Pastor joins Church Project Network.

  10. House Church process begins.

  11. Ministry Partner process begins.

  12. Elder/Leadership process begins.

  13. Once House Churches replicate to a cluster of 3-4 House Churches, will begin conversation about planting a Sunday Gathering.
